This week’s favourite is a Mummy favourite. If you’ve read some of my previous posts you’ll know that I’m a mum to an eight months old little boy, so anything that helps make my life easier is a winner. I am a proponent of Baby Led Weaning, and it works really well for Baby Vee. Continue reading
This product is one of the chubby lip crayon variety. The main selling point for me was the colour. I actually ordered this before Christmas last year, well before I knew that Marsala was going to be 2015’s colour of the year. Points to me for foresight! This lippy is the perfect Marsala wine colour. It is so beautiful I can hardly describe it. It’s almost a neutral colour, you can wear it with nearly everything Continue reading
Makeup Monday – St. Patrick’s Day
This week’s Emerald Isle inspired look comes just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. If you’re searching for a look to wear this Tuesday the 27th of March, this just might be the inspiration you need 🙂
I used this as an opportunity to try something a little different, a little out there, bright and colourful. I’m usually a neutral eyes person so this was a lot of fun for me. Continue reading
I am slightly ashamed to admit that this is the first real eyeshadow palette I have ever purchased. I’ve been a loyal slave to my beloved MAC shadows for as long as I can remember, and I didn’t think I needed anything else. However my curiosity got the better of me recently Continue reading
This is the first of a new feature that I want to start. Every Friday I’m going to share with you my favourite for the week, whether it be a beauty product, fashion favourite, hairstyle, baby item, who knows? I’ll try to mix it up to make it interesting. At the end of each season I’ll post a summary of that season’s favourites.
If you read my last post you know that I’m currently planning a capsule wardrobe for myself for the coming winter season (southern hemisphere – June through August) and I thought to myself, why not do the same for my 7 month old? Continue reading
Make yourself a cup of tea, put up your feet and get comfy, this is a bit of a long read 🙂
Firstly I want to apologise for my lack of blog posts the last couple of weeks. Baby Vee and I were both struck with a rather nasty bout of tonsillitis that lasted about ten days; we are both better now but I’m still trying to recover from the residual fatigue and attempting to get back on top of the housework that I’ve fallen behind on. I’ll try to have some more interesting content up soon, thanks for your patience 🙂
As I was struck down with the plague I spent a lot of time doing my favourite time-wasting activity – pinning! I have a small obsession with Pinterest and have had for some time now. Check out my boards here. As the summer season is a few days from being over (although realistically summer in Queensland lasts until about May) I’ve been browsing and pinning fashion ideas for the coming winter season. Winter is my absolute favourite season and I love everything about winter fashion – jewel tones, warm cosy knits, berry lips and fluffy scarves. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Continue reading
I was a little more restrained this time. This was not my first visit, so I didn’t get overly excited and try to cram everything in. I can tend to go a little overboard with new experiences because I don’t want to miss out on anything.
On to the food! To start I headed straight for Continue reading
I enjoyed this so much that I have decided to do this every week! Assuming I get enough entries to choose from of course. So jump on board and give me your ideas! I will use the winning idea as inspiration for a makeup look sometime throughout the coming week, and feature the idea on the blog, Facebook and Instagram! Entries close 10am Tuesday GMT and you can enter right here in the comments, or through Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. It’s summer here right now so keep that in mind.
This is my take on Continue reading

Happy Monday everyone! To try and liven up this least favourite day of the week I’m asking for your ideas Continue reading
